ArtByGenève exhibits contemporary art, presented by galleries and artists.
The Geneva based art gallery Artraction shows works by Uta Richter, Pierre E. Terrier, Emmanuel Mottu and Maria Bill.
Please meet Uta Richter and Pierre E. Terrier the 29th of April from 5.30 to 8.00 pm at the stand of the gallery.
The installation “Stepstones” by Uta Richter can be seen from the 1 of May until the 2 of October 2010 at the sculpture garden Sonnenwald in Grattersdorf near Passau (Germany).
Stepstones is an installation of 7 concrete leaves and each leave shows a schematic human portait.
The topic of the installation is the exodus: People who have to go away from their country are like leaves blown all over the world. At some place they may fall down but they can’t grow roots again, so they might be blown further on to other places.
